Hi, I’m Aaron Nathanson. I’m a Cinematographer and filmmaker (and proud dog dad) with over a decade of experience spanning commercials, documentaries, and narrative work. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, I’m now based in Vancouver, Canada, though I’ve spent much of my life living abroad, with Japan feeling like a second home.

My experiences working in different cultures have shaped the way I see the world and continue to spark my curiosity for people and their stories. They’ve also taught me the value of collaboration. Filmmaking is a team sport, and I care about building an environment where creativity flows and the process stays enjoyable.

I also don’t believe creativity should be limited by budget. If you’re working on something you’re excited about, I’d love to hear from you.
