Hi, I’m Aaron Nathanson, a Vancouver-based cinematographer and filmmaker (and proud dog dad) with more than a decade of experience across commercials, documentary, and narrative work. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, I’ve spent much of my life outside the U.S., with Japan still feeling like a second home.

Working across different cultures has shaped how I see people, place, and story, and it’s reinforced what I value in the process: clarity, taste, and collaboration. I bring a wider lens to every project, with an instinct for what feels true, resonant, and universally human.
